Connecticut dental care for low income household. I live on my own and I pretty much live pay check to pay check with nothing really left for much else. I have not been to the dentist is a very long while and I know I have some issues with my teeth and gums because of not seeing a dentist.
I not sure what to do to get low cost dental care. The dentist in my area want $175 – $200 for basic check, cleaning and X-rays. I do not even know how much my cost would be if I need more then just that. What can I do? Do you offer any dental plans that can help me?

Why is dental seprate from your major medical? I get medical though my job but not dental and it seems to me that dental should just come with your medical since it is just as important. Also when is the cost for dental health care ever going to go down.
I just go back from the dentist and for just a basic cleaning and X-rays it cost me $300.00 how is this affordable health care? So now I am looking for dental insurance that I guess I have to pay for now on my own and I wondering how much is this going to cost me. I need something low cost so what cheap dental insurance plan do you have?

New York dental insurance, dental office complaints.
Monday, Jan. 10th 2011 9:57 AM
I current have a dental PPO plan that I get though my employer as part of my employee benefits package. I went to use the plan for the first time. I was told by the insurance company that I could pick any of their dentist or go to anyone I want to.
So I went to a dentist that was locally near me for the convenience factor. So far nothing as been a convenience to me. I was told my preventive dental care would be covered at 80 percent and basic dental care treatment at 80 percent and only major dental services at 50 percent.
Okay fine with that and since I was only get preventive care and one filling done I figured I would only have the 20 percent to pay which was not much. Wrong! The dentist charged me the full amount at the time the services are render even though the staffing new I had dental insurance they said it was up to me to collect the money due from the company.
They did not tell me this at all ahead of time so it was very lucky I had $475.00 on me at the time. I had to file out the claim in which case the dental office would not even help me fill out the form. I just sent the billing statement I got from the dental office to my insurance company.
I got my money about three week later and I am paying more like 40 percent of the billing since my insurance company informed me that the dentist I went to is not in their network and if I go outside the network my coverages are less then inside the net work.
What is up I feel I am getting beating up on both ends from the dental office sticking me with the whole billing and not helping me with the claim forms at all and the insurance company not letting me know ahead of time that I would cost me more to choose my own dentist. Which by the way you think they would have since I called and asked about dental offices.
Who do I complain to about this? I feel that I got suck with a much more high cost then I would have agree to normally. No one was cluing me into the facts and I am out money.
Massachusetts dental insurance health care for gapping teeth issues
Sunday, Jan. 9th 2011 7:40 AM
I live in Massachusetts and I am looking for dental care: Over time I have been getting some gaping issues with my teeth. At first it was not so bad so I did not mind it as much. My dentist tells me my teeth are healthy it just that I am aging and with prior gum issues in the pass this was what is causing the gaping now.
That is is easily corrected with braces and that I can get the invisaligns since I am 43 I think invisaligns would be want I want instead of a mouth full of metal. However the dental plan I have right now as confirm that they do not offer adult braces and that many dental insurance company do not and since I am wanting invisaligns I was told it will only make it harder for me to find a dental insurance that can help me out.
Is this true? I would really like to get a dental plan that can help me with my teeth. I take good care of my teeth and never really need any major dental care. I just want to be able to fix my gaps. Can you advise or offer me any help thanks.

New Hampshire dental insurance for preventive dental care
Friday, Jan. 7th 2011 9:26 AM
I am looking for a really low cost dental plan. I just want to be able to have dental insurance for my preventive dental care. I never needed more then a basic dental cleaning since I take excellent care of my teeth.
I would not be even looking for dental insurance except that the dentist I go to is now over two hundred dollars for just preventive dental care. This is not acceptable and I want to reduce my dental cost without all the saving going to the cost of the dental plan.
I have the normally X-rays office visit and basic cleaning twice a year deal. what do you have that can help me save money?
