Dental insurance care, Front tooth chipped

01/11/10

My front tooth is chipped I chipped it around two month ago but it is now starting to hurt me a little whenever I drink something cold.  I do not have dental insurance so would getting any now at this point be helpful to me now or not?   Not sure what is needed to fix a chipped front tooth so  do not know what to look for when I am shopping dental insurance.

Dental insurance care, do not want dental though work

17/07/10

I know this may seem weird but I do not want to get the dental insurance though work because after reading the plan it really sucks.  My job is saying that it comes with the medical so if I want the medical I have to have the dental.

What do I do if I do not want to use the dental insurance?  I was going to buy the Pacficare dental plan you also have available on your web site.  But if   I do not want to get into trouble having to dental insurance plans.  Is that an issue?

Dental Insurance Care, When should I add my new born to my dental plan?

18/06/10

I  was able to add my daughter a month before she was born to my health insurance policy.    However I have yet to add her to my dental insurance.  I am not sure if I should add her at the policy renewal that is coming up in September,  or if I should do it mid term.

Also a friend of mine said she did not had her son to her dental insurance plan until he was three.  Since that was the age her dentist would start seeing him at.  She said she did not want to have to start paying the family plan cost when he would not even see a dentist for three years.

Is that something I should think about too.  Right now it is just my husband and I on our dental plan.  Will adding my daughter really make the price go up that much more?
