Dental care in North Carolina, dental plans for fillings needed. I need to have many filling done to fix cavities I have in my teeth. The dentist told me it would be costly without any dental insurance. I got free x-rays so I know what is needed but they do not do free fillings. Can you help me get dental plan that will save me money.

If your orthodontist is advising you to get them pulled asap, maybe it is because they are currently doing damage to your other teeth (making them crooked) or they will do damage to your teeth.
If you are not 100% clear on why your orthodontist is saying to have them pulled. Then asked them. Getting them out may not make anything faster but will prevent problems with your teeth while you are in braces and after they are removed.

The cost is going to depend on the type of Insurance Plan you have. Sometimes the cost of X-rays for Orthodontic treatment is not covered at all so you need to review your plan benefits. If you do not have Insurance then the cost of any X-rays would depend on what the dentist is charging. Dentist to dentist cost varies and would be hard to say what one charges and why. That would be something you would need to shop out.
